| Program of Instruction: (Six Phases)
Introduction to Discipleship: Clearly define Biblical discipleship, its goals and objective. Clearly identify the standards and expectations. Identify and define the pattern of discipleship.
Relationship with God: Increased development of students understanding and relationship with God. Going deeper into who God is, His heart, His mind, His character, His person and purpose.
Relationship with Others: Gaining godly knowledge and wisdom in relationships with fellow Christians, family and others. Learning the characteristics and challenges of covenant relationship. Challenging the attitudes and hearts of our own barriers
to relationship, communication and Kingdom effectiveness.
Kingdom Principles: Clearly define and impart distinctive Kingdom principles and transferable Kingdom concepts to students challenging them to exercise and demonstrate that they fully comprehend and transformation has been accomplished.
Kingdom Mandates: Discovering the directives given by God to each of us as Christians as well as the corporate Body of Christ. Teaching, instructing, demonstrating and challenging each student in each of these mandates. Learning and developing
mastery in each.
Spiritual Growth: Taking the students to deeper theological thinking. Challenging their ability to think, comprehend and articulate their faith and its distinctives. Challenging each students mental, emotional and spiritual maturity in every thing
they have learned or experienced. Pushing students to maintain what they have gained as well as to grow to the level of Fatherhood where they themselves begin to disciple others.
Pattern of Instruction: Classes will be conducted one night per week, two hours each session for 30 weeks (8 months). The program will require a minimum of three qualified instructors covering two topics each session with each instructor being
responsible for ten sessions. Each instructor is required to develop and conduct two examinations and two student evaluations per phase. Exams and evaluations will consist of a pre-evaluation of students at the beginning of the phase and a post-evaluation
at the end of the phase. During the course peer evaluations will also be conducted periodically at instructors discretion. In each phase instructors will follow the Biblical pattern Jesus exemplifies in the book of Matthew.
- Demonstrate what you are about to instruct
- Teach and train what you are instructing
- Challenge the student to apply what they have been taught and instructed
- Assess the student and provide additional instruction and guidance as needed
Practical Application: Throughout each phase instructors will utilize at creative methods of application to challenge and employ students in the areas of instruction. The idea is that the tasks are delegated to the students allowing them to make
the necessary planning, coordination and implementation steps to complete the tasks. As a minimum, the following application methods may be utilized.
- Evangelistic outreaches
- Group discussions
- Student preaching and teaching
- Apostolic ministry
- Prophetic ministry
- Pastoral care (hospital, etc.)
- Disciple another
- Worship sessions
- Serve in areas of ministry/need within the church
- Missions
- Summer Tour
- Drama Ministry
Syllabus: The following syllabus is a road map. Instructors must cover these topics as a minimum. Instructors may add to this list at their discretion.
Phase I – Introduction to Discipleship
Define Discipleship, Pattern for Discipleship, Goal of Discipleship
Phase II – Relationship with God
Worship, Trust, Repentance, Deliverance, Holiness, Holy Spirit, Righteousness, Sovereignty, Transformation, Theology, Prayer
Phase III – Relationship with Others
Covenant relationship, Attitude, Forgiveness, Anger, Joy, Healing, Community, Family, Bearing false witness, Accountability
Phase IV – Kingdom Principles
Servanthood, Stewardship, Wisdom, Commitment, Giving, Faith, Vision, Worldview
Phase V – Kingdom Mandates
Generational Transfer, Multiplication, Fatherhood, Cultural reformation, Evangelism
Phase VI – Spiritual Growth
Temptation, Character, Leadership, Liberty, Spiritual gifts, Prophecy, Revival, Correction
Student Requirements: Cost to students is to be determined. Students must complete an application process, which includes a written application, references and an interview. Students must demonstrate participation in each class, each task of each
phase, external events and church services. Students must complete all tasks to the standard as clearly identified by the instructor. Students must maintain a 99% attendance rate to all class sessions, additional events and church services. Students must
demonstrate positive attitude and growth.
