Send Me internship is an opportunity for you to minister under the mentorship of a Victory Fellowship missionary and also earn credit for ministry related to your course of study at Victory Christian College. Send Me interns also participate in a variety of evangelistic opportunities here in U.S. communities. Don't just have another boring summer. Take a journey you will never forget with a team of young World Shakers. You will become part of a Victory missionary adventure and entrench yourself in cross cultural ministry. World Changers also get hands on evangelistic experience right here in U.S. communities.

 

 

SEND ME World Evangelism Internship.

Most interns are High School Graduates or third year college students and have decided to take one summer and make an impact on the world for Christ. Many students are studying for a degree in ministry and are able to apply this mission work towards their degree studies. If you are interested we will search our database of fields, ministries and missionaries and place you in a location where you will be able to fulfill your academic requirements as well as touch the lives of others for the Kingdom of God. Travel to another nation as well as conduct hands on evangelism right here in communities around the United States. Every country in the world (including this one) offers its own unique challenges, adventures, and needs. We invite you to check them out. A Send Me team is a group of two to fifteen college students who are willing to step up to the challenge of accepting their Great Commission. Teams are made up of students from around the world and from diverse backgrounds and experiences. If you have never ministered or traveled cross-culturally, this is your opportunity.

Make friends with national believers and minister with them to their friends and neighbors. Tell people who have never heard the Gospel of your faith in Jesus Christ. Watch God use you to bring others closer to Him. Experience God's Word in a whole new way as you apply it to your life with a changed perspective. Peek into a world of people with different customs, languages, foods, and faiths. Share Christ unashamedly and creatively. Worship the Savior with believers of another language. Explore the prospect of missions in your future.

A week of intense training at the Victory World Evangelism training center. Learn about the cultural differences, sharing the Gospel through drama, relationship building, many lessons in ministry application and much more. Get hands on experience right here in the streets of the U.S. by sharing your faith with people of different races and cultures right here at home who have never heard the Gospel or experienced the love of Christ.

Then get ready to take it to the world. Take all that you have learned. All that God has done in you and go shake the world. You will be sent with a team of Send Me interns or Victory Missionaries to assist them and be a part of taking the Word World Wide.

 

 

MISSION STATEMENTS.

GLOBAL - As Christians we have been commissioned to take the Gospel to every tribe and tongue. To disciple them in the precepts and principles of the Word of God. We have been called to define our culture and others according to the Word of God. We have been commissioned to go forth and disciple nations and share the love of Christ that overcomes all cultural, social, racial, and language barriers.

COMMUNITY - As well as accepting our commission to disciple nations and define cultures we must not negate the same responsibility to our own nation. We must take the Gospel and love of Christ to the sick, poor, prisoner, hungry, homeless and hopeless. We must meet their basic human needs, show them Christ's love, teach them His way's, show them a purpose and destiny that God placed in them, then let the Holy Spirit change their lives.

 

 

Do I Qualify?

Spiritual maturity, quality education, and ministry experience are all vital components of preparation for assistant missionary service. Victory sets specific qualifications for assistant missionary personnel.

We desire to help you meet those qualifications. If you believe that God is directing you to pursue the mission field, we want to work with you to follow God's leading.

The qualifications for Victory assistant missionaries are as follows:

Education.
     Educational requirements are determined by the type of ministry that you will be involved in.
Church Membership.
     Membership in a church whose doctrinal position and practice is compatible with that of Victory in that it's fundamental are scripturally aligned with the tenants of the Christian Faith. Fundamentally, Jesus Christ is the risen Son of God. There is but one way to Salvation and that is through Jesus Christ. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Principles & Practices.
     In order to create a harmonious team committed to scriptural distinctives, it is necessary for all candidates to be in complete agreement with scriptural principles and practices of the Christian Faith. Candidates are expected to be spiritually mature enough to serve together in building the Kingdom of God with those who may have different doctrinal perspectives beyond the basic tenants of the Christian faith.
Testimony.
     Assistant Missionaries must evidence that they are truly born again and reflect the essential characteristics of Christian testimony as found in Acts 11:24, Romans, Timothy, Corinthians, etc.
Ministry Experience.
     It is important for candidates to be involved in local church activities. Experience in personal evangelism, discipleship, and preaching or teaching God's Word is essential.
Application.
     Every Assistant Missionary candidate must complete the full application process.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Step 1. Getting to know you. If you believe that the Lord is calling you to be either an Assistant Missionary, a Missionary, or just to be a part of local evangelism, we want to get to know you. Our desire is to help you develop your full potential as a a Vessel of honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work (II Timothy 2:21).

Step 2. Preliminary Application. This is the first step in getting to know you and your talents, interests and educational background. Once we learn of your interest in serving, we will send you a preliminary questionnaire. Through our communications with you, our review of the preliminary application, and the recommendation of your pastor and home church, we will then send you a full application.

Step 3. Full Application. The application procedures to be completed are as follows:

        Formal Invitation From Field

        Financial Clearance (If seeking support for mission ministry)

Step 4. Candidate Orientation Seminar. If you plan to serve as an assistant missionary or on an evangelism team, you are required to attend a Candidate Orientation Seminar. By attending this seminar, we hope to introduce you to Victory and help you to grasp information to apply to your ministry term with us.

Step 5. Departure to the Mission or Evangelism Field. When the application is complete, support requirements (if you will be seeking support) are met, orientation and workshop training is complete, release to the field is approved. Our goal is to train you up and send you out.
