GOAL, INTENT, & OBJECTIVE:
The vision of VCFI is to restore the New Testament church, prepare the Body of Christ to be the bride without spot or blemish, and to build the Kingdom of God as we govern our lives and define our culture through Godly precept and principle.
- The goal is to raise a people who understand and live by Kingdom thinking and understand the importance of transferring that thinking generationally. (Kingdom Generational Transfer)
- The intent is to develop leaders in the House of God, generationally, who understand and live covenant relationship. (Leadership Development and Covenant Relationship)
- The objective is to return to the fundamental aspects the disciples built the New Testament church upon and the commandments given to them by Jesus Christ to save the lost, disciple the nations, and feed the sheep. (New Testament Church Restoration)
Therefore, the vision of VCFI is a vision for both the local body as well as the global Body of Christ. It is a vision that requires God’s people to be a part of something much bigger than themselves and to avoid becoming a people stuck within their four walls doing their own thing. It is a constantly moving and growing vision that must expand and impact the entire earth for the Kingdom with each generation. Each generation must find a means to make a significant contribution in the expansion of the vision upon sound Biblical Kingdom principles.
Christ said that if we would glorify Him that He would draw all men unto Him. We are commanded to preach the Gospel and save the lost. We have a responsibility to let them see the love of Christ in us through the implementation of Kingdom action. We must demonstrate what the Kingdom of God really is by first meeting their basic human need through benevolence. Another Kingdom principle Christ taught was to not just feed them for a day but to teach them to fish. As the Body of Christ we have a responsibility to help them grow. The scripture calls this discipleship and teaching them to obey the commandments of God and grow in their relationship with Him and understanding of Him. The following are key methods of accomplishing this task:
MISSION IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS:
"As the arrow in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of God." Just as the arrow or bow are not effective alone, when integrated together, properly used, and aimed with accuracy they become an effective weapons system. Each phase of the process is broken down into the bow and arrow analogy and is reflective of each office and gift of the Five-Fold Ministry. Just as the arrow has to be selected and pulled from the quiver so God has called us to pull the lost from the fire into the grace of Father's plan of salvation. Twice a year Victory Fellowship will conduct an "Encounter Weekend" where we will present the importance and need for God's plan at the cross. However, it cannot end there. The pastoral responsibility of integrating them into the Body of Christ must begin. During the first three months of this phase we will implement what is known as Intensive Care Relationship (ICR) where someone is assigned to the new comer to consistently communicate with and encourage. The new comer then is encouraged to complete Victory Foundations 101 (New Believer's) thus beginning the progression towards transition from crowd or regular visitor to becoming an active and integral part of the church ministries and jointed membership. Follow on course include Victory Foundations 102, 103, and Leadership Development. Just as the arrow has to be placed into or integrated into the bow so they must be integrated into the church culture. Another critical part of the integrate phase is getting the new comer plugged into a LIFE Group. LIFE stands for Love, Instruction, Fellowship, and Encouragement. Each group consist of a LIFE Group leadership team of two persons and ten LIFE group members. The LIFE groups never exceed twelve persons who have developed a life-time covenant relationship with one another. Through the LIFE Groups and Foundational classes the new member goes through the discipleship process like pulling tension on the bow. At least once a year Victory Fellowship will conduct a "Prophetic Destiny Conference" where those identified by the Pastoral staff will impart and prophetically affirm the gifts and callings on the newly jointed members life in the Body of Christ to aim them in the direction of Father's will. Then the Pastoral Staff will apostolically commission for the call to send or release them in the Body locally and globally to fulfill the Great Commission.
As Kingdom people we are commanded to occupy until He returns. Scripture also tells us that the earth travails awaiting the manifestation of the Sons of God. We are to be restoring our dominion over all of our Fathers creation. We are to be doing our part in building the Kingdom of God where every tribe and every tongue bows and cries Holy is the Lord. In order to disciple the nations we must first disciple generations of God’s people. We must train them up as apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors, and teachers then send them out unto all the earth preaching the Gospel of Christ. We have to expand our borders and build the church and Kingdom of God in every town, city, state, and nation. We have to reach out to every culture and race of people that God has placed right at our doorstep and bring them into the Kingdom of God. The following are key methods of accomplishing this task:
The Body of Christ is not about buildings and monuments but it is about building spiritual growth and understanding in God’s people. Christ’s life motto was, "The Kingdom First, God’s People Always." Christ told the Apostle Peter, "If you love me, feed my sheep." In order to fulfill this task we must not only bring them into the Kingdom and disciple them. Each must grow towards spiritual fatherhood where they to begin to beget other spiritual sons and daughters. At some point in their growth we must give them responsibility, hold them accountable, and help them to mature in Christ. The following are key methods of accomplishing this task:
